Hello everyone (who am I kidding...Hey Jeff!). It's been a while since I've last posted anything on the site. So I just posted four new podcasts on the main page. From now on, I'm not going to re-post the podcasts on this blog page... seems a little redundant to me. We'll save this page for any musings we drunkenly forgot during the show and any other bullshit we might want to share. Also, our friend Drew designed us a logo that I still don't know how to put on the website, but I did put on a t-shirt. That's right, the Reel Drunk merchandizing machine is up and running! And by that, it means we have one shirt. But you wait, this shit is going to explode! Right? Seriously, it's going to be big! You wait... I see you out there with your doubting faces, but it's going to happen. Soon! Ok, whatever. Anyway, stay tuned, we've got a lot more in store for '09.

In doing a Robert Englund movie night, it would have been easy to break out a couple of Freddy Kreuger flix, but we took the road less travelled and watched 2005's 2001 Maniacs and this year's Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer. Both flix were a lot of fun, and with the addition of 100 proof Captain Morgan, it turned out to be a great night. I think we both get our feelings hurt at some point during the podcast, but that's what life with Kyle is like...a little bit of joy and a lot of sorrow. See you next week.

This week, we tackled two of Chevy Chase's worst flix, Modern Problems and Nothing But Trouble. These movies were so bland, blah, and mediocre, we were struggling to find stuff to talk about. Something I would like to talk about is last week's podcast. Kyle and I don't usually listen to our podcasts once they've been recorded, but I didn't remember anything about our show featuring The Villain and Lust in the Dust. I got as far as the really bad Schwarzenegger impersonations and had to stop listening. I came to the conclusion that I can't listen to anymore, or I might be too embarrassed to continue recording these things. I don't know why you guys keep listening, but God bless you! See you next week.

To be honest, I don't remember this at all. We decided to watch four movies in one day and The Villain and Lust in the Dust were numbers three and four. Needless to say, we were pretty fucking drunk by the time it came to record the show. Actually, I think we started recording before the last movies was over because we hated it. The end of the show devolves into a continuation of an argument we had a few days ago. It's all a big fucking blur! Anyway, if the play button doesn't work, try hitting download. Enjoy!

Kyle and I like to be racially diverse in our movie watching. It was such a nice day out, we decided to take a trip to Daytona Beach and watch Black Spring Break: The Movie and Black Spring Break 2: The Sequel. These movies sucked balls! Apparently, the filmmakers didn't believe in things like plot and character development, or even microphones. Oh well, we've watched worse. Oh, and our aim here is never to offend those who choose to listen, and hopefully we didn't say anything that would upset anyone. A little bit of useless trivia for you, the title of this week's podcast was taken from an internet porn site... we like porn! And finally, you may have to hit the download button to listen to this week's show... still having the occasional technical difficulty. Enjoy!

It seemed like such a good idea at the time... Hot Dog The Movie and Hamburger The Motion Picture. Two movies with food inspired names. One, a teen sex skiing flick, the other, a movie about... hamburgers. Hot Dog was tolerable, Hamburger was... well just give a listen and Kyle will tell you how much he hates it.

I have to be honest, Kyle has been out of town for the last couple of weeks, and we recorded a few podcasts to have in the bank. This is one of those podcasts. I don't remember what we said and barely what we watched. I had to go back to the tape to see that it was Poltergeist and House. As I am now drunk... fuck it, just listen.

Kyle got mad at me after our first movie tonight. Actually, he started cursing me about five minutes into it. That movie was Million Dollar Mystery, which is basically a movie length ad for a sweepstakes sponsored by Glad trash bags back in the 80's. He was right to be angry of course, because the movie was a total shitfest. I kind of redeemed myself with the next flick, Midnight Madness. This is Disney's version of what an all night collegiate scavenger hunt would look like. And it's the movie debut of Michael J. Fox. It's a silly little movie, but still rather fun 28 years later. So, tune in and listen to Kyle berate me for a while.
